Wilton Tradesman Bench Vise

The Tradesman round channel vise is specially designed to handle even the most demanding clamping applications. Unlike most vises, which have a fixed center nut, the Tradesman round channel vise nut is anchored at the rear, providing straight line pull and even pressure, resulting in increased durability. The round channel design also allows for a completely enclosed spindle and nut assembly, ensuring that debris is kept out and lubrication is retained for a lifetime of smooth operation. The Tradesman vise is equipped with main jaws, pipe jaws, and a machined anvil work surface for ultimate versatility. The 60,000 PSI ductile iron body is virtually indestructible, with 2X the strength of gray cast iron.

The enclosed design of the vise keeps lubrication in and contaminants out, ensuring smooth operation for a lifetime. The large anvil is designed to withstand heavy use while forming and shaping materials. Additionally, the longer spindle nut ensures smooth movement and a stronger straight-line pull. The machined steel serrated jaws with phosphate coating provide increased durability, while the precision slide bar eliminates movement in the front jaw regardless of the opened distance. Furthermore, the reversible jaw inserts are serrated on one side and smooth on the other for added versatility.
